MS Dhoni Global School
Furniture built for a tech-first campus, from day one
Founded in 2020 as an initiative of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, MS Dhoni Global School in Kudlu Gate, HSR Extension, Bengaluru, was built as a 21st-century CBSE campus from the ground up — one of the first schools in India to partner with Microsoft under its Showcase School Incubator Program.
With biophilic, technology-enabled classrooms, Digi Edu Tech labs for AI, AR/VR and robotics, and a 2-acre sports complex, the brief called for furniture that could match the ambition of the infrastructure — flexible, durable, and ready for a genuinely new-age way of teaching and learning.
What they needed
- Age-graded seating and desks for the Explorers (Grades I–V) and Innovators (Grades VI–VIII) divisions
- Furniture compatible with smart boards and digital-first classrooms
- Durable workstations and stools for the Digi Edu Tech and robotics labs
- A single accountable partner from design through on-site installation, on a tight opening timeline

Popcorn Furniture ran a full site survey and space-planning phase across the campus, matched colourways to the school's brand identity, manufactured every piece in-house to BIS standards, and installed in phases around the construction and opening timeline.
