Trinity Schools — Science & STEM Lab Furniture
Lab furniture that can take years of real experiments
Trinity Schools wanted its science and STEM labs to be used every day — not treated as showcase rooms — which meant the furniture had to withstand chemical spills, water exposure and constant handling by students of all ages.
Beyond durability, the labs needed to work for a range of subjects: chemistry, biology and hands-on STEM projects, each with different bench, storage and utility requirements.
What they needed
- Chemical- and heat-resistant work surfaces for chemistry and biology
- Fitted sinks and utility points built into the bench layout
- Mobile stools and workstations for flexible STEM project work
- Storage for lab equipment, glassware and student project materials
Purpose-built labs, manufactured for daily use
Popcorn Furniture designed and installed a full lab bench system with chemical-resistant work surfaces, integrated sinks and under-bench storage, manufactured in-house to BIS institutional standards for long-term daily use.
Spaces we furnished
- Chemistry & biology labs — chemical-resistant benches with fitted sinks
- STEM & project rooms — mobile workstations and stools
- Equipment storage — under-bench and wall-mounted cabinetry
- Staff prep areas — workstations and secure storage

Our labs get used every single day now, not just for demonstrations. The benches have handled a full year of practicals without a mark.
