BK Birla Schools — Interactive Learning Corridor
Making the walk between classrooms part of the school day
BK Birla Schools wanted its early-years corridors to do more than connect classrooms — the school saw an opportunity to turn transit time into informal learning time, with a themed environment children would look forward to walking through every day.
The brief called for a cohesive visual story along the corridor, built with materials safe for constant contact and heavy daily footfall from hundreds of young students.

A hot-air-balloon-themed learning walkway
Popcorn Furniture designed and installed a hot-air-balloon-themed corridor with suspended balloon models, illustrated wall murals and interactive touch panels, manufactured and finished to BIS safety standards for continuous public-area use.
