Sri Chaitanya Schools — Chemistry Lab Furniture
Lab furniture that can take a full academic year of practicals
Sri Chaitanya Schools run an intensive, exam-focused science curriculum where students are in the lab far more often than a typical school — which meant the furniture had to withstand daily chemical use, not occasional demonstrations.
The brief called for a compact, efficient lab layout that maximised bench space for a full class, while keeping every station safe and easy for teachers to supervise.
What they needed
- Chemical- and heat-resistant work surfaces for daily titrations and reactions
- Dedicated fume and ventilation points at key work stations
- Compact bench layouts that seat a full class without crowding
- Storage for reagents, glassware and student lab kits
A high-use lab, built to institutional standards
Popcorn Furniture designed and installed a chemical-resistant lab bench system with integrated fume points and lockable reagent storage, manufactured in-house to BIS standards for continuous, high-frequency practical use.
Spaces we furnished
- Chemistry labs — chemical-resistant benches with fume points
- Student workstations — compact, safety-railed bench seating
- Reagent & glassware storage — lockable under-bench cabinetry
- Staff prep areas — dedicated preparation benches and storage

Our labs run practicals every single day of the week now. The benches have held up perfectly under that kind of continuous use.
